Shared folders can be shared between all users, defined users, or a predefined group of users.
The calendaring keeps track of free/busy signals, and even private events will trigger a busy signal.

Users can be setup as local users only, which will restrict them from sending internet email. This can be the default setup, or a per user setup.

Riky.NET mail servers can be setup to push all communications to an external pop3, or Riky.NET compliance pop3 account.
All communications means, anything received or send, including internal communication between users.
Not included is anything that users create and save, in personal folders or shared folders, but they do not send.
Although this is technically a backup, it can not be used to restore a failed system.
If the compliance pop3 account is setup with Riky.NET, you will not have direct access to this data, we will only mail this data to you, or a 3rd party as per your request.
We wont even start pointing out the importance of backup
There are two backup types, Data Backup, and Replication Server
is when we backup the core Riky.NET Mail Server Database to a secondary computer/backup server
This can be setup in specified intervals, like once a day at midnight. We can aditionaly keep backups that are one week old, one month old etc.
The only restriction is the amount of harddrive space you will have on your backup server.

A replication server is an additional Riky.NET Communication Server that mirrors everything that happens on the first server and can also be accessed and used by the users.
Replication servers can be setup anywhere in the world, even at your premisses.
If setup at your premisses, we will require a computer that is dedicated to this application, and is available over the internet 24/7
Setting up a replication server at your premisses gives you lightening fast access, and even access while your internet is down.
In an ideal world you would employ both backup types, but we do highly recommend you do at leased one.
There is no per user charge, you pay for the server, and you can add and remove users at will.
Riky.NET Communication Servers can be deployed on a single small VPS starting at only $20 a month, and can scale up to large range corporation needs with multiple servers and millions of users.
Even a small setup can handle 100 to 500 users easily, and much more with light users.
In general we recommend for companies, with 100 or less employees to deploy at leased one VPS with us, and one local server to ensure high availability and redundancy. Nothing is ever guarantied and communication data is extremely important. Having the second server at your location will not only give you fast access, but will also be a fail save backup. Chances of both systems failing at the same time are extremely slim.
For companies with 20 or less users we recommend an offline backup system, which can be hosted by Riky.NET with starting rates at less then $10 a month, or at your premisses using a small server. We install everything on a brand new server, and ship the server to you, all you have to do is connect the cables, and start it up. You own it flat out, there is no monthly rent to pay. The prices on these servers come down faster then we can update them here.
